Earlier this month Taylor Swift made headlines whenOfficial Charts announced Swift's Midnights is the best-selling new vinyl release of the last 10 years.
"According to Official Charts Company data, Taylor Swift's 2022 LP Midnights - Taylor's 10th studio album, re-recordings aside - has shifted nearly 130,000 vinyl copies since its release in October 2022," the company said in a statement.
"In its first week on sale in the UK, Midnights opened with the biggest first-week sales of Taylor's career at the time, with 204,000 chart units (a record Taylor would break less than two years later). It topped the Official Albums Chart for five non-consecutive weeks, and spent seven non-consecutive weeks at Number 1 on the Official Vinyl Albums Chart too between 2022 and 2023."
Just a few days later, Swift is making waves yet again - and once again it has something to do with vinyl. Earlier this week Taylor Nation surprised fans with a limited-edition announcement featuring her Fearless: Taylor's Versioncardigan that sold out not long after it was announced.
Fast forward two days later and Swift had something else up her sleeve for fans that may have missed out on the cardigan. Ahead of Record Store Day - which is a semi-annual event in April and November - Swift's management company announced Fortnightfeaturing Post Malone and the Blondish remix will be available in select records stores on April 12.
"Thought of callin’ ya to say #RSD25 is tomorrow! Fortnight feat. @PostMalone and the @blond_ish remix will be available in select record stores while supplies last!" Taylor Nation revealed.
Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end boyfriend Travis Kelce have been staying out of the headlines in recent months following the team's Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
